### **8. Token Model: $FONQ & FXP**

FONQ’s economic design is intentionally minimal.

The protocol operates with **one ecosystem token** and **one non-speculative intelligence unit**, each serving a clearly separated purpose. This separation removes confusion, prevents incentive distortion, and ensures long-term alignment between participation, governance, and value capture.

#### **8.1 $FONQ — The Ecosystem Token**

**$FONQ** is the sole on-chain token of the FONQ protocol.

It represents governance, coordination, access, and long-term ownership of the intelligence network.

$FONQ is used for:

• Governance and protocol decision-making\
• Access to advanced intelligence features\
• Participation requirements for core system functions\
• Long-term alignment with protocol evolution\
• Coordination across the ecosystem

As FONQ adoption grows and intelligence usage increases, demand for $FONQ emerges naturally through access, participation, and governance — not artificial yield mechanisms.

$FONQ captures the value of the network as intelligence density, accuracy, and trust compound over time.

#### **8.2 FXP — Soft Intelligence Unit**

FXP is **not a tokenized asset** and does not represent ownership, governance power, or economic control.

FXP functions as a **soft intelligence unit** used exclusively for:

• Measuring intelligence contribution\
• Weighting participation and accuracy over time\
• Enabling community distribution mechanisms\
• Supporting airdrops and non-speculative rewards\
• Tracking reputation and contribution consistency

FXP is earned through real interaction, validation, and accuracy within the system. It cannot be used to influence governance and does not represent protocol ownership.

FXP exists to align participation with intelligence quality — nothing more.

#### **8.3 Why This Separation Exists**

FONQ deliberately separates value capture from contribution measurement.

This design ensures:

• Governance remains clean and protected\
• Contribution incentives remain flexible\
• Community distribution avoids speculative pressure\
